Necessity

Any well-informed and forward-thinking Human Resources manager knows that the increasing globalisation of the economy demands that employees possess better English skills. Companies are increasingly expanding their business fields and entering international markets in which no German is spoken and English is set as the standard language for communication. A medium-sized enterprise, for example, that has been privately run for decades with primarily German customers and suppliers, can almost overnight become part of a Scandinavian group of companies and suddenly be involved in international business. Structure and Flexibility

In accordance with your organisational and personnel development guidelines, we can offer group courses, individual training or day seminars. In addition, we can arrange language stays in England. In every case, you decide whether the courses run for a fixed length or for an open period of time. Both kinds of course have advantages and disadvantages: language acquisition is an arduous and long-term project, and, particularly at lower levels, cannot be dealt with in ten simple lessons. On the other hand, courses which run for a fixed period of time naturally create a more structured programme. As training and development budgets are generally limited, we offer you clear idea of what learning progress can be realistically expected within particular timeframes.

Our course levels are structured according to the EU Frameworks for Foreign Languages. We are of the opinion, however, that the six EU Framework levels from complete beginner to quasi-native speaker do not accurately represent reality. For this reason we have split each of the six EU levels into a further three sub-levels respectively. An overview can be found under Course Levels.
