Training Team
Each CELTA course at the HAMBURG SCHOOL OF ENGLISH has either two or three designated CELTA tutors, one of whom acts as the Main Course Tutor. The Main Course Tutor is responsible for the administration of the course; the second tutor supports the Main Course Tutor in Input sessions and Teaching Practice as well as assignment marking.
In safe hands
All CELTA tutors have to be approved by Cambridge ESOL and must participate in standardisation every year. This ensures that your tutors are always up to date with developments in the award and are able to assess your progress in line with Cambridge ESOL expectations.
When not involved in a CELTA course, all of our tutors are busy either teaching English as part of our regular school programme of courses or training and directing the team of 70 English teachers who work at the school.
So please allow us to introduce you to ...
