Riversdown House - study in style

Riversdown House provides language stays in exclusive style. A former country manor in Hampshire in southern England, the house is situated in a majestic landscaped park equipped with a 9-hole golf course, three tennis courts, a swimming pool and an original Finnish sauna.

Riversdown House provides you with the opportunity to be completely immersed in the English language. You live in the house, take your meals at the house, and attend your language lessons there, as well as taking part in leisure activities and cultural events in the evenings. All programmes are conducted in English.

During your stay you will have the opportunity to meet business people from Austria, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. In your courses, you will be able to share experiences and perhaps even make new business contacts.

Accommodation

You stay in your own individual room either in the Garswood Farmhouse or on site at Riversdown. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily in the communal dining room. Should you have special dietary wishes, these can be accommodated.

English training

Your stay at Riversdown can last between 1 and 4 weeks. English training takes place Monday to Friday from 09.00-17.00hrs, and courses are designed according to your current level of knowledge and particular needs.

A team of experienced teachers, who are also well-acquainted with Riversdown House, offer you individual teaching and intensive support in reaching your goals.

Leisure programme

The leisure programme consists of visits to the theatre, interactive presentations from guest speakers and communal dinners on weekdays as well as day excursions at the weekend to London, Oxford, Salisbury or Stonehenge. You may also hire bikes and make a bike tour.
