Tailor-made individual classes

This kind of course is ideal for customers who are often away on business or are very busy and unable to attend regular lessons, such as one of our evening courses.

Flexibility is key

In an open course, you decide how many hours of English training you would like to take. If you are unable to judge how many lessons you will need when you begin, it is possible to arrange an open course with us that does not have a fixed number of lessons. In an open course, no minimum number of lessons is required.

Billing is done on a monthly basis and you are only billed for those lessons that you have actually attended.

The only limitation to your flexibility in terms of time is the observation of a 24-hour cancellation period. The postponement of an appointment is viewed as a cancellation and the scheduling of a new appointment. Cancellations later than 24 hours in advance of an appointment have to be treated as short-notice cancellations and the total lesson fees are then included in the monthly bill. Lessons on Monday need to be cancelled by 13.00 on the previous Friday.

Appointments for individual lessons are flexible and agreed upon by the customer and the school office, ideally one week in advance. Normally, customers name their desired appointments by Thursday lunchtime at the latest for lessons in the following week.

The HAMBURG SCHOOL OF ENGLISH offers individual training for Standard English and English for Special Purposes/Business Skills, i.e. presentations, negotiations, job interviews etc.
